StrongStart BC is a free drop-in early learning program for all preschool-aged children (all children aged 0 to 5). Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver while attending the program.

These wonderful programs are conducted by qualified early childhood educators who lead a variety of learning activities designed to help children get ready for success in kindergarten. Parents and caregivers attending a StrongStart BC center can expect organized sessions like story time, play activities, accesses our library as well as our small gym and includes a music session as well, and a healthy snack.

The McKenzie Elementary School StrongStart program is located in the school building and is open from 8:45- 11:45 weekdays. Registration can be done on the School District 61 website: https://www.sd61.bc.ca/programs/strong-start/
